Condition-aware guidance

More useful planning for people with real health considerations.

Sweat & Snack can help users understand ingredients, compare options, plan meals and identify questions for a healthcare professional. It does not diagnose, prescribe or guarantee that a food is medically safe.

Diabetes and prediabetes

We can show carbohydrate, fiber, added-sugar and serving information, then help users build balanced meals with vegetables or fiber, a protein source and a measured carbohydrate source.

Important: the app will not calculate insulin doses, change medication guidance or set universal carbohydrate targets.

Hypertension

We can show sodium per serving and suggest DASH-inspired swaps using vegetables, fruit, whole grains, beans, nuts, fish or poultry and lower-sodium ingredients.

Important: potassium and fluid advice may be unsafe for people with kidney disease or certain medicines, so those cases require clinical guidance.

Food allergies and celiac disease

Recipes and ingredients should display allergens, custom exclusions, gluten status and cross-contact notes. A strict exclusion mode should block recipes that conflict with a user's profile.

Always verify the current package label and follow your clinician-prescribed emergency plan. The website cannot guarantee that a recipe, restaurant meal or packaged product is allergen-free.

When professional review is needed

Personalized planning should pause for pregnancy, pediatric use, kidney or liver disease, eating-disorder history, severe allergy, complex diabetes, medication questions or multiple interacting conditions.

Use this page for education and preparation—not as a replacement for your healthcare team.
